Stories don’t ahere to physcial boarders. They travel by word of mouth and find other places to thrive and more people to carry them on. After creating Bridge Witches in 2016 I wanted to expand the boundaries of my focus for the next tarot deck beyond the city of Pittsburgh and include more from the little mill and coal towns up and down this side of the state. Western Pennsylvania carries so many haunting stories but our friends to the west and south of us are a part of our fabric. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve met so many people who depend on Pittsburgh as acentral hub or relocate to the city from a small Appalachian town in Eastern Ohio or West Virginia. With these folks come their stories. While we can’t claim them, they become known regionally to us and therefore are included here.
