Each image was designed for near interchangeable use on the Community Human Services website / in email campaigns in order to rotate on a regular basis and keep content fresh.
Images addressed the intention that CHS had when connecting with customers. This drawing is based on one person’s description of what makes them comfortable, regardless of their tenuous housing situation.
Staff shared meaningful locations and stories to assist image creation. The gazebo is a community hub for residential mental health programming.
CHS provides resources to a variety of people experiencing housing, mental health, and or food crisis. The words “bridge” and “ties that bind” came up in our conversations. Print quality images were created for CHS special events.
Wood Street Commons is one of several locations that CHS provides services in Pittsburgh. It’s a home and hub to many.
 Contact
Every image references a core value of the organization and a strength based approach to working with people in need. Providing security starts with offering someone a cup of coffee when they arrive. Everyone deserves a gesture of dignity.
Showing instead of telling what donations support was important.
Community Human Services commissioned images for use in web and print to illustrate how they support their customers through their housing, food pantry, family support, and residential mental health programs.
